Kahaani is a Bollywood thriller film directed and co - produced by Sujoy Ghosh and starring Vidya Balan, Parambrata Chatterjee and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. Vidya Balan plays a pregnant woman in search of her husband and the father of the child which takes her all the way to Kolkata from London. This is Vidya's fourth female - centric film after Paa, No One Killed Jessica & The Dirty Picture.
