Julayi has a great first half going for it. Trivikram's stamp can be seen all over it and this half makes for some great entertainment. A slightly below par second half and unnecessarily over the top sequences spoil the flavour a bit. Still, Julayi makes for some good entertainment overall. Read More

Trivikram strips the hero of his extra frills and energy and gives him a right balance and direction to move the story ahead smoothly. Julayi is in a true sense an action entertainer, it doesn't have bombastic dialogues of mass heroes but you will not miss the unmistakable focus of the hero in attaining his three goals. Read More

Music is the major attraction in technical front. He has given foot tapping beats and his compositions like 'O Madhu', 'Pakado Pakado' and 'Julayi' are sure to rock the audience. The cinematography of Chota K Naidu and Shyam K Naidu in song sequence is simply superb. Prawin Pudi's editing is also commendable. Trivikram's dialogues are excellent. Read More

The first half goes on a mix of serious and lighter note with elements of romance, comedy and some action. The second half also goes with the same momentum but overall it is the humour that dominates. At the box office, the film has the right material to entertain the mass and class audience so a hit looks very strong for this one. Read More

Julayi is an action entertainer that has good first half laced with some of the finest dialogues. Comedy and dialogues are major assets to the movie. Second half of the movie is a letdown. If you are looking for time pass, then the film provides it but on the quality front, it is just average movie. Read More

The writing, especially in first half has Trivikram Srinivas's trademark flair written all over it. The comedy sequences involving Brahmanadam, MS Nrayana tickle your funny bones. Devi Sri Prasad's compositions are easy on the ear and the songs have been picturised pretty well. Read More

Plus points of the film are Trivikram's work (dialogues, direction and screenplay), Allu Arjun's seamless performance and entertainment value. On the flip side, a few logics and the super-hero orientation to hero character should have been taken care of. On a whole, Julayi is an intelligent action entertainer with Trvikram's brand humor. The storyline is not great, the characters don't have much strength but it is purely the cat and mouse game which is depicted between the protagonist and antagonist and the gaps filled with some comedy and punch dialogues. Read More

Technically, Julayi was fine. The bank robbery scene and the climax scenes stood testimony to Tri's nimble style. The cinematography, Praveen Pudi's editing and Ravindar's art direction were top notch. The action scenes were all well-shot. Read More

DSPs music, needless to say, works perfectly for the film. 'Julayi' and 'O Madhu' songs give a rhythmic feel to the film while the rest of the songs make you want to sing along in excitement. The pun element in the film is carried through the songs as well, few songs in particular. Read More
