Ramakrishna Pai, a Government employee residing in Mumbai, Ghatkopar worked in National People's Bank as a senior Manager. He was soon going to retire and use to often miss his village. His wife had gone to Pune for a month to meet her Daughter Rohini, but after 1 week, a worst incident takes place in Pai's residence as an unknown killer slits Mr. Ramakrishna Pai's throat and also steals Ms. Pai's jewellery and cash worth 25,000 rupees from the cupboard.
